Maximizing Cash Flow

Post your best strategies for conserving and making money. How much cash did you have going into the final stage and how did you manage it?

I had approximately 48K going into the last stage with tons of exotic and regular powerups. I mostly used the End Stage Mining exploit I posted and just conserved powerups until I absolutely needed them. Cas said hoarding was supposed to make the game harder, but I never really noticed it, so this may be a balance issue.
